He loves me beyond the misunderstandings.
It’s our 2nd Valentine’s Day together!
He has always been the sweet and thoughtful type. He gives
me flowers and surprises me even during ordinary days, so what more if it’s
Valentine’s day, right?
But this Valentine’s day is different. We had a little
misunderstanding the night before and being the stubborn and stupid girlfriend that
I am, magnified it the morning after, never willing to settle things up –
forgetting that it’s Valentine’s day.
Then, of course, regretting everything once the damage has
been done.
Too late. I’ve hurt him. Just because of a very shallow
reason.
And he’s hurt and mad, too.
But again, he has proven how lucky and blessed I am for having someone as good-hearted as him. He showed up at my doorstep bringing my favorite flowers and chocolates and cake - just to hug me tight and kiss me and greet me happy valentine’s day. Though I’ve
hurt him early that morning.

I can’t write everything here but believe me, I’ve said
worse things. But he still chose us over all the bad things that happened.
That’s one thing I admire most about him. He always sets
everything aside because he wants to choose us. And I will be forever thankful
for that. I will be forever thankful for him, for his love and patience and understanding.
More than just the flowers and chocolates and cake, it’s his
maturity and humbleness and what he did on that night that made me fall in love
with him even more. More than everything else, it’s his genuine love and effort
that makes him a one-of-a-kind.
And I guess that makes me so lucky!
